Dear Dude, Your iPhone is Smarter Than You

A friend of mine at work relayed the following story to me today. Last night she got a text from a guy who’s been chasing her pretty hard. He texted to say, “I’ve been thinking about you girl, can’t wait to see you, etc.”. When she looked closer at the text however, she noticed something funnier than his come-on, it was a GROUP text. He had sent the same text to three different girls, which on an iPhone gets bundled into one. She responded inquiring whether he did in fact text multiple girls, to which he responded with some BS line like, “I hate this phone, I have no idea what happened”. Mmmmm hmmm. He went on to ask, “Do you want to have lunch tomorrow?”, to which she replied, “Sorry I have plans. But don’t worry, I’m just 1. You can still try the other 2 out of 3”. End of Story.

Beijing Sexy Times

In a corner of Beijing, this is apparently what sexy time looks like.

A red boa, feathers, negligee and unopened bottle of wine. Not sure who this is meant to be sexy for, but eek.

Breaking Up in Public, Beware

Public domestic disputes are the worst. Whether it’s a lady yelling at her boyfriend on her cell phone or a couple dueling it out on a street corner, it sucks being a witness to an awkward interaction. What do you do, what do you say? Unless the situation is violent or blatantly out of control, most of us say and do nothing.

Some people, it turns out, prefer capturing the experience via social media and broadcasting it for everyone to follow along from a distance. Introducing, Andy Boyle, a douche bag web developer who thought it would be cool to capture a young married couple’s argument at Burger King by Tweeting their overheard statements, pictures of them and even voice recordings.

And the Tweets go on and on and on. We’re all for field journalism and research, but this is just weird, creepy, and over the line.

It just goes to show, you have to be careful about everything you put in writing, and apparently everything you say out loud in public. Yikes.

Alabama Fan Annoyed at her Boyfriend’s Meltdown over Loss to LSU

Everyone knows that Southerners take football seriously, and Alabama is home to some of the most devoted fans. However, this frat dude took it to a whole new level after Saturday’s LSU-Alabama game when he just couldn’t hold back the tears.

Upon seeing this, his girlfriend gave him an epic “are you kidding me?” stare that is now immortalized and can be watched in this video and seen in the picture below.
