Chris Brown’s Neck Tattoo

Some of you may have noticed recently that Chris Brown is sporting a new neck tattoo. You may have also noticed that it bears some resemblance to a certain musical artist and female from his past, namely Rihanna.

Despite statements from Brown that the tattoo is of a random woman depicted in a MAC makeup design, and NOT his former girlfriend who he brutally assaulted in 2009, many bloggers, journalists and fans beg to differ.

Man Fakes His Own Death Before Proposing

A man in Russia decided to test his girlfriend’s love for him by faking a violent car crash and his own death before asking her hand in marriage. Romantic, right?

According to the UK Sun, Alexey Bykov hired a movie director, stuntmen, make-up artists, and script writer to stage the dramatic fake accident scene. From his girlfriend’s perspective, she arrived to the place they had agreed to meet earlier in the day to find “mangled cars everywhere, ambulances, smoke, and carnage” and her boyfriend “dead” (according to the fake paramedics).  Continue reading

I recently decided to get back into online dating, despite the fact that the first round had not led to great success. Maybe it was boredom, maybe it was masochism, or maybe it was the social pressure from everyone I know, including my THERAPIST, asking me “why are you single? Why don’t you date online?” that led to this act of desperation. I was extremely wary in the beginning, but my unease soon wore off as I became pleasantly surprised by the number and quality of messages I received.

Maybe Not Tonight

My female friend Molly had started a new job as front desk manager of a super-swanky boutique hotel and was crushing pretty hard on her coworker – the very sexy (and 10 years older) bar manager of the hotel lounge.

“Ethan is SO hot,” she’d gush to me over the phone, “and AMAZING in bed! You just HAVE to come by and meet him. We’ll go up to the bar for drinks next Thursday!”

So the following Thursday I shimmied into a slinky dress, painted on some black eyeliner and left my place teetering on 5-inch heels to meet Molly at the hotel bar.

We were comfortably settled, exchanging gossip and sipping $18 martinis on the house when I saw Ethan coming, sizing us up like a large game cat stalks a pair of gazelles as he made his way across the room.
