Last night I paid a visit to the mural wall on Houston and Bowery on the Lower East Side in Manhattan. Artists rotate in painting their unique creation on the public wall for a period of months. This time the artist is Ms. Aiko Nakagawa, the wall’s FIRST female artist to be featured in this now iconic location. Crazy. Known as “Lady Aiko”, her mural is AWESOME. It’s totally rad and with the kisses and quotes, it’s most definitely got a touch of SFAR spirit in it. The mural wall is huge, but here’s a sneak peek:
